  • You will actively shape the renewal of the shipment data core functionalities and design technical extensions and modernizations of our national and regional transport management ECO system.
  • You will use your technical expertise in an environment of cutting-edge technologies such as Kubernetes, containers and Kafka in the cloud.
  • With creativity, communication skills and team spirit, you will work with DevOps teams to implement exciting extensions and modernizations for logistics services.
  • You integrate applications, partner systems and platforms into our IT landscape sustainably, efficiently and reliably.
  • You will play a central role in the planning and design of solution architectures, drive implementation ideas, and consider quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness aspects as well as future development trends.
  • As part of a dedicated team of architects, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and the reference architecture, guidelines and toolchain.

This is what you bring with you

  • In order to quickly familiarize yourself with the diverse range of tasks, you have a computer science degree (BSc, MSc or similar).
  • You have experience in the design and implementation of software systems and interfaces.
  • You have broad knowledge of software development and understand the concepts of service- and event-oriented architectures, ideally in the Java and/or .NET environment.
  • With your analytical and abstracting skills, you support the subject matter experts in implementing innovative solutions.
  • You bring practical experience in cloud technologies, API design, messaging, continuous integration/continuous delivery, and architectural documentation.
  • You enjoy agile working (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps) and are characterized by empathy, a thirst for knowledge, and the ability to accept criticism.
  • You communicate well in German, both verbally and in writing, and have a good command of English.

We offer a fair salary, ranging from CHF 120,000 to CHF 140,000 per year (full-time), depending on your experience and skills. Applications from talented individuals with different skills are also welcome; in such cases, your salary may be slightly above or below this range.
