ServiceNow Developer-ITAM

Role Summary 

MetaPhase is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer with a minimum of seven (7+) years of experience to support a federal enterprise ServiceNow implementation. This role is part of a high-performing team responsible for building cutting-edge applications and advancing the organization’s ITAM capabilities across hardware and software asset lifecycles.
The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable solutions with a focus on usability, user experience (UX), and test-driven development, while driving asset visibility, compliance, and lifecycle management through ServiceNow. You will work within an Agile DevSecOps environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing 
  • Custom Application Development: Design and build custom applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational needs.
  • Platform Operations & Maintenance: Support upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of ServiceNow applications, with a focus on ITAM data integrity and system performance.
  • Workflow & Automation: Develop workflows, scripts, and integrations to automate asset tracking, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
  • Portal Development: Design and implement full-scale Service Portal solutions.
  • Performance Analytics: Develop/maintain dashboards and reporting to drive business insights.
  • CMDB & Data Management: Ensure alignment between CMDB and ITAM data models, improving data accuracy and governance.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level support and resolve complex ServiceNow issues with minimal downtime.
  • Best Practices & Documentation: Champion development best practices and maintain thorough documentation for knowledge transfer and sustainment.
  • Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies, support story estimation, and manage work through the development lifecycle.
  • Platform Configuration: Configure and support modules including Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, CMDB, and Service Portal.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members to promote growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Adaptability: Effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic client environments.
What We Need From You (Required)  
  • Minimum of seven (7+) years of overall industry experience, including low-code platform development
  • Minimum of five (5+) years of hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience
  • Strong experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
  • Proven problem-solving, process improvement, and change management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
  • Experience with federal implementations and FedRAMP-certified ServiceNow environments
  • U.S. Citizenship (required for federal contract support)
Bonus Points (Desired) 
  • Experience supporting Federal U.S Government clients
  • ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) certification and implementation experience
  • ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) certification and implementation experience
  • Experience with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) workshops and implementation
  • Strong background in workflow design and Performance Analytics

Compensation:
  • Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $120,000 – $150,000.
