FinOps Engineer – Remote Work | REF#288459

As a FinOps Engineer, you will optimize cloud spending across the organization to ensure maximum business value. You will provide visibility into cloud costs and implement strategies to eliminate waste and improve financial accountability for cloud infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain comprehensive cost allocation models to provide transparency into cloud spend across teams.
• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities by uncovering architectural waste and underutilized resources.
• Implement and govern cloud financial policies using tools like CloudHealth, Kubecost, and AWS Cost Explorer.
• Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to establish accurate forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Monitor and report on key cloud efficiency metrics to drive data-driven decision-making for infrastructure investments.
• Educate development teams on FinOps best practices to foster a culture of cost-conscious engineering.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud Financial Management, FinOps, or Cloud Engineering.
• Proven expertise in optimizing cloud spending and building cost allocation models.
• Proficiency with cloud cost management tools such as CloudHealth, Kubecost, or AWS Cost Explorer.
• Experience identifying architectural waste and implementing cloud governance policies.
• Strong background in analyzing cloud usage and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
