2bcloud is a leading MSP specializing in working with some of the best-known startups in the world, and we are seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as a FinOps Engineer. As a FinOps Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing cloud costs and ensuring efficient resource allocation for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in AWS or Azure, and knowledge of CloudHealth, to take on a customer-facing role and make a significant impact on our organization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals and provide expert guidance on cost management in the cloud.
- Act as a primary point of contact, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and effectively communicating complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilize tools such as CloudHealth to monitor, analyze, and report on cloud expenditure, proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities and presenting actionable recommendations to clients.
- Demonstrate the ability to drill down into billing data, understand cloud services, and identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
- Work independently to solve problems and address challenges, while also being an integral part of a collaborative team environment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FinOps processes, sharing insights and best practices with the team.
- Take part in shaping the role of a FinOps Engineer within our organization, influencing the future direction and strategies of the team.
- 2-3 years of experience working with AWS or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud concepts and services.
- Proficiency in CloudHealth or similar cloud cost management tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze billing data and identify opportunities for optimization.
- A technical background is a big advantage, but not a must-have requirement.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
