Description-
  • Investigate and understand the basis for every line item on our cloud infrastructure invoices
  • Optimize performance to spend where you need to and redistribute resources
  • Suggest areas for improving spend by finding better rates or improved technology
  • Find anomalies in usage patterns and give quick feedback in order to course-correct
  • Predict, plan, and ensure resources utilization to estimate the need for the future and negotiate a discount or pre-allocate resources
  • Create business intelligence reporting to inform the broader organization and empower other teams to facilitate cost optimization and minimize waste
  • Assist in architectural designs and decisions
  • Having real-time data you can predict and make decisions to optimize costs
  • Review customer’s cloud infrastructure and produce cost optimization reports on monthly bases
Technical requirements-
  • Data-driven and detail-oriented; testing and measuring every step
  • Knowledge of relevance monitoring and measuring to identify areas for improvement
  • Automate everything you can
  • Keep up to date on the latest cloud products and trends
  • Be able to consolidate several streams of information to see the big picture
  • Curious about every detail and strive to understand the bases for your data fully
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure pricing ( Saving Plan, RI )
Desired Skills and Experience-
  • Intimate familiarity with the cost structure of AWS and Azure products and services
  • Real-world experience with BI and/or cost trackings tools such as PowerBI or AWS QuickSight – advantage
  • Experience in negotiating long-term commitments and contracts broad knowledge of MSPs and third-party software platforms
