Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the AI, ML, and GenAI subject matter expert during the sales process, demonstrating deep knowledge of our solutions and how they address customer needs.
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer challenges and tailor presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of our AI, ML, and GenAI offerings.
- Solution Demonstrations: Design and deliver compelling demos, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements that highlight the capabilities and benefits of our advanced technologies, including GenAI applications.
- GenAI Integration: Advise on the integration of Generative AI techniques into customer solutions, such as leveraging large language models for improved customer service or automating content generation.
- Feedback Loop: Gather customer feedback and market insights on AI, ML, and GenAI trends to influence product development and roadmap planning, ensuring our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and data science teams to align customer needs with our product capabilities, especially in the context of GenAI advancements.
- Thought Leadership: Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in AI, ML, and GenAI to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Sales Support: Assist in creating sales collateral, including technical presentations, proposals, and whitepapers that highlight the value proposition of our AI, ML, and GenAI solutions.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to promote long-term partnerships.
Required Skills and Experience
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as solution consulting, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales, with a focus on AI, ML, and preferably GenAI technologies.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and practical applications, including experience with Generative AI models like GPT-4 or similar.
- GenAI Knowledge: Familiarity with recent GenAI trends and techniques, such as large language models, transformers, and diffusion models, and their applications in the insurance industry.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Hands-On Experience: Proficiency with AI/ML and GenAI tools and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar libraries.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to address customer challenges effectively.
- Presentation Skills: Proven experience delivering engaging presentations and demonstrations to diverse audiences.
Preferred Skills
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the P&C insurance industry with an understanding of underwriting, claims, or policy administration processes.
- Guidewire Familiarity: Knowledge of Guidewire products and how they integrate with AI, ML, and GenAI solutions.
- Cloud Experience: Experience deploying AI/ML and GenAI solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Data Analytics: Familiarity with data warehousing, big data technologies, and data integration techniques.
- Regulatory Awareness: Understanding of the ethical considerations and regulatory requirements related to AI and GenAI deployments in the financial services industry
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000 – $216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
