Your role as IT Economics manager is to provide the framework for steering IT change and run spend as well as the benefit realization .
Your main tasks will be
Support the IT budget construction and follow-up
- Support the different IT Product Owners (Applications, Cloud, Infrastructure, Workplace) in the construction of their budget
- Coordinate and support AZ Technology IT Teams, AZ Trade IT Retained and AZ Trade IT Controlling in the construction of the IT Run budget
- Provide expertise in business case calculations for IT projects
- Follow-up on budget arbitration and validation
- Support IT Product Owners (Applications, Cloud, Infrastructure, Workplace) to steer their budget along the year
Controls service requests to the supplier AZ Technology and support business Product Owners in challenging the cost estimations
- Act as the first line of contact to support Product Owners in verifying and challenging AZ Technology estimations for IT projects, leverage expertise from the IT Department (e.g., FinOps, Architecture) if necessary
- Controls that Service Requests correspond to the previously agreed budget and validate them when a validation from IT Retained is necessary
Investigate on AZ Technology invoices for validation
- Support the Product Owners in case of mismatch on the project invoice
- Support and escalate to the Contract PMO in case of a dispute regarding the invoice
- Analyze IT run invoices and true-up/down in regard of the financial and operational reporting to detect and understand gaps
- Dialogue with AZ Technology stakeholders to resolve cost issues
- Follow-up on cost reconciliation in the following invoices
Analyze the IT costs for performance improvement
- Based on AZ Trade IT Controlling reporting and AZ Technology financial operational reporting, analyze the overall IT cost structure (people, licenses & contracts, hardware)
- Propose and follow-up performance improvement plans
