The role of IT Cost Reporting Controller is to:

  • Support Ops & IT budget controlling and ensure proper tracking of Allianz Trade IT transformation
  • Manage financial reporting on Ops & IT scope towards Allianz Trade management and Allianz SE Finance (H2) and Ops & IT (H4) teams

It reports to the head of Transformation & Performance management within Group Finance and is a team member of the IT Controlling team. On a day to day basis the IT Cost Reporting Controller will work under the guidance of a Senior IT Controller within this team.

 

Challenges

Accurate financial reporting is at the core of the IT Cost Reporting Controller role. To do so the IT Cost Reporting Controller works under the guidance of the Senior Ops & IT Controller and in close relationship with the rest of the team – in particular the IT Cost controller in charge of IT accounting treatment and the IT Cost controller in charge of projects controlling. He/she will be a key contact of the H4 team in charge of the IT Reporting.

 

Main tasks

Responsibilities on Ops & IT Controlling includes three areas:

  • Ops&IT Budget:

o Support budget process & communication towards Group & Regional stakeholders

o Contribute to alignment with AZ Trade Finance & AZ SE on process & timeline

o Manage budget data gathering, consolidation & support validation

o Ensure that AZ Trade Ops & IT budget is properly reflected on time in AZ Group IT Reporting (ITR)

  • Reporting & controlling:

o Support closing and consolidation of Regional closing financials and report to the budget owners

o Support P&L Analysis preparation (budget-forecast-actuals) and preparation of reporting for Allianz Trade CIO & COO and BOM

o Manage quarterly AZ Group IT Reporting (ITR) ensuring that all required dimension are properly documented and that uploaded financials are aligned with AZ Trade SAP data.

o Maintain AZ Rolling Forecast (RFC) in alignment with AZ Trade IT retained org and monitor decommissioning savings (IT Transformation business case)

  • Controlling & Support:

o Contribute to improvement of finance processes

o Support finance tools maintenance (cost centers structure, rolling forecast excel tool)

o Maintain reporting pack for service owners

 

Key experience required

  • Must have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in similar position

• Strong IT controlling skills

• Strong reporting skills

• Ability to challenge experienced budget owners

• Strong excel skills

  • Preferred:

• Previous experience within Allianz or complex similar international organization
