Program Manager – Airlines

About the role

As the lead for our Altéa Transformation Programs, you’ll be leading & supporting Altéa initiatives such as FinOps transformation, Cloud transformation, Continuous Operations, and Local Data Residency.

Your main responsibilities

Cloud & FINOPS transformation of all Altéa products & solutions teams

  • Cooperation with leadership to ensure cloud and FINOPS considerations are included and understood.
  • Work closely with business domains to support FINOPS pilot initiatives and prioritization of next steps for all Business Domains (BDs): Business NSM definitions, lead discussions on how to implement them, and prioritized implementation plan & use of associated budget.
  • Support transformation of the business domains, about FINOPS & business KPIs that need to be monitored, defining & implementing associated action and processes; support associated potential business model evolution, supporting the Business Models team and Business domains. Identification and implementation of FINOPS dependencies.

Local Data Residency Strategy

  • Contribute to development of the Data Localization strategy to define the path towards global solution deployment where needed. Refining the stage gate strategy & scenarios.
  • Cooperation with the Regions, Product Mgmt., Product Marketing Mgmt., & Engineering to define the ultimate scenarios that can be proposed: understanding and prioritizing needs of different regions and customers, understanding evolution of geopolitical landscape and subsequent needs, defining what solutions to localize, facilitate discussions to establish associated effort & timeline.

Continuous Operations

  • Support Altéa continuous Operations definition of the long-term offering. Cooperate with the regions, PMs and PMMs of the respective Business Domains for the definition, and Engineering to define what can be done.
  • Track implementation of Altéa Continuous Operations Core, and monitor progress

About our ideal candidate

  • At least 10 years’ professional experience, with demonstrated skills in leadership, facilitation, transformation, and change management.
  • Must be able to communicate with and understand both business & engineering topics.
  • Airline or travel industry experience required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in FinOps appreciated.
