Apple’s FinOps Engineering team is looking for a hard-working and highly motivated leader to be a Cloud FinOps Product Manager. You will provide a key function in shaping the success of Apple’s current and future products.
As a critical team member, you will work with various business and engineering teams to understand business initiatives. Our goal is to be persistent and flexible in extracting data from various sources, cleaning and curating this data, and then clearly and concisely summarizing any insights. You will have the opportunity to partner with internal and external teams to drive the planning and execution of products.
Key Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated ability in program/project management role in a customer-centric environment
Outstanding driver who is excellent at connecting the dots and able to lead and influence global, cross functional teams
Ability to consistently and positively in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Remain flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity
Collaboration skills—leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations, and experience working across all levels

Strong intuition for business and ability to comfortably dive into any area of the business, develop a deep understanding, and craft execution plans
An understanding of data in a sophisticated and complex enterprise system landscape, including data governance, quality, and standardization
Experienced with the common frameworks of cloud services and distributed systems including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.
Experience with Agile software development
Hands-on experience with Python, R, Tableau or similar tools to mine, transform and visualize data
Description
• Responsible for the plan of record and ensure all work streams are well defined, planned, and resourced to deliver per the overall launch timeline
• Support and empower the team to identify landmarks, handle dependencies and risks, track results and remove blockers
• Drive and maintain senior leadership engagement and alignment, facilitating and supporting key decisions
• Implement standard methodologies (e.g. for planning, program, and project management) and help drive adoption of them throughout the organization
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative competence. MBA desirable.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $177,000 and $269,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
