Cloud Product Specialist

As a Product Specialist for our Cloud billing management solution (Cloud Assure) you will support the sales team with in-depth knowledge of the solution and your contextual knowledge of the Google Cloud and billing management. From the first pitch to a potential customer, all the way through to handover to delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring that we tailor the solution to the specific needs of the customer, set their expectations correctly and capture all of that in a water-tight contract.

Appsbroker is dynamic and the role is varied so you’ll get involved in a wide range of activities but here are the main things we’ll need you to do:

  • Pitching the solution to potential customers
  • Understanding customer priorities and plans for the Cloud
  • Creating tailored proposals based on customer needs
  • Forecasting customer GCP spend based on historical data
  • Drafting contracts
  • Refining internal procedures and processes
  • Creating relationships with Partner FSRs

Requirements

Skills that will make you successful in this role:

  • Client facing, sales oriented
  • Mathematical/ numerical bias
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Logical and methodical
  • Articulate, persuasive and commercially aware
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) – writing, modifying and reviewing contracts will be a significant portion of your role
  • Collaborative and proactive

We would naturally love to see candidates with any Cloud/ Google experience however this is not a must have. Additionally, if you have any qualifications in FinOps, we would love to hear from you!
