Responsibilities

You

For customers you will be owning the execution plan and responding to requests from the customer and changes to the customer’s objectives. As their business changes, we need to recalculate our path to their success. You will interact regularly with the customer’s team and even take action to make changes to the customer’s cloud account to execute your recommendations.

What we want you to do?

• Onboard, plan, execute and track new and existing customers Cloud Savings Program across AWS and Azure
• Lead discussions and manage customer’s commitment based discounts across all savings instruments
• Analyse customer business objectives and use the Apptio Cloudability platform to build insightful reporting, dashboards and savings program
• Rollout FinOps best practices at customers depending on the customer’s maturity level
• Create playbooks for scaling team and designing the job functions of each consultant in your team
• Track team impact on customer and productivity with detailed metrics
• Work closely with new customers to guide them through the Professional Services Practice Management and Advisory services Discovery, Planning, and Execution process
• Perform analysis, create decks and present regular operational reviews to customer leadershipCollaborate with an internal global team to grow a strategically important part of the Apptio business
• Partner with other Apptio domain experts to bring together the collective suite of Apptio products to generate insights across customers total IT spend
• Be the voice of the customer, champion and advocate for customer requirements with our Product and Engineering teams
• Contribute educational content, blog posts, and tutorials to help customers derive more value from Apptio Cloudability

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

• Hands on experience as FinOps Practitioner across AWS and Azure and preferably GCP
• Track record of increasing FinOps maturity
• Demonstrated ablity to break down complex problems into sub tasks and track outcomes
• Experience in customer facing roles such as consulting, customer success or equivalent experience
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work US Central Hours

Preferred Qualification

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification or higher (or equivalent knowledge)
• Skilled at building relationships with customers and co-workers
• Proven track record of developing frameworks to solve ambiguous problems and leveraging data to derive insights that lead to actionable recommendations
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non technical contexts
