This is a newly created position which will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing and reporting Cloud and SaaS spend across the Aristocrat business. Using data to identify areas of focus, driving change at an engineering level, and advising senior managers on FinOps strategies.

As part of a highly skilled team, you will be focused on cost optimization, recommendations, and solutions to solve specific business problems such as building bespoke reporting solutions. What We’re Looking For

Role Key Objectives:

  • Establish systemic processes to maintain visibility of the organizations Cloud infrastructure.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand Cloud usage and costs
  • Build relationships with 3rd party suppliers and look for new toolset additions that can be included in our service offerings.
  • Define your customer’s cloud strategy, align with their budget, strategize a cost saving plan, analyze ability and put into action.
  • Use your commercial insights to add sourcing strategies with vendors
  • Ensure accurate cost reporting to inform internal accounting allocations

Qualifications

To be set up for success there are a range of helpful qualifications, education, certificates we think are useful for the role:

  • AWS Certification (Cloud Practitioner)
  • Financial Qualification/FinOps Certification
  • Excel skills/ASANA
  • Knowledge of CloudHealth, CloudCheckr cost optimization tools
  • Bachelor’s/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/
  • Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam)
  • 3+ Years of experience in a FinOps role Master’s
  • 1-4 Years Experienced Employee
