What we do in the FinOps area at AVIV

Cloud Spend is key to the Operational Excellence and Financial robustness in AVIV Group. FinOps enables the organization to get maximum business value by helping engineering, finance, technology and business teams to collaborate on data-driven spending decisions. The team facilitates the adoption of FinOps principles and best practices.

QualificationsWhat you can expect

• Technical implementation, automation and maintenance of FinOps systems and tools as:
  • Cost allocation & chargeback
  • Cost trends and anomalies
  • Usage dashboards
• Analyze Cloud Usage and provide clear, specific and actionable FinOps recommendations
• Provide FinOps strategies expertise (e.g. rightsizing, power scheduling) as a Business Partner to Engineering
• Provide cost-benefit analysis of cloud infrastructure changes, including the use of new technologies or services
• Collaborate with Engineering to facilitate cost optimization recommendations and best practices
• Facilitate budget, forecast, and expenses reports to the teams

About You

• Proficient in FinOps practices and methodologies
• FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and its API
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and IaC (Terraform)
• Agile software development methodologies expertise with emphasis on tracking and progress status
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
