Amazon Web Services is seeking an unconventional, visionary, and driven Senior Product Manager for the AWS Optimization team. Our team’s vision is to be the world’s authoritative provider of cloud optimization products, where customers can optimize their usage of the AWS cloud via advanced scaling, discounting, suspension and cleanup automation. Because we sit at the nexus of all services and interact directly with end-customers, we build relationships with teams across AWS to ensure that we offer a secure and reliable customer experience. We take inputs from these services and merge them with the millions of events every second to produce actionable insight to our customers.
As a senior product manager, you will serve as a key member of our product management team. You will own the product roadmap, positioning, and go to market success for one or multiple of our cloud optimization products. You will define, price, and package capabilities to address customer needs. You will get to work in a large-scale business used by every AWS customer, and have a big impact every day. You will have a deep understanding of cloud adoption and management best practices, and empathy for where customers struggle to get the most value out of their cloud spend.

The rapid advancement of public cloud adoption has multiple unintended side effects on cost, resource sprawl, waste, and disparate management practices. Be a role model for boundary-less collaboration. You will work hand-in-hand with many internal and external stakeholders to translate market insight into features and roadmaps; support product marketing to develop messaging and promotional content, drive product launches and adoption programs; and enable business development, solution architecture, sales and partners.
Possess a hybrid, results-oriented skill-set. While the ideal candidate is highly capable doing the inbound activities involved in building great products, you can focus your energy outbound as well. You are comfortable hands-on in the trenches executing on deliverables as needed to grow your products.
