About the role
As an Azure Cloud (Infrastructure) Engineer, you will be responsible for collaborating on design, development, and maintenance of reliable, scalable, and efficient cloud-based environments using Microsoft Azure with a combination of PaaS and IaaS resources. You will work closely with development teams to understand application requirements, design and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. In addition, you will be instrumental in helping the company transition to an Agile development methodology by teaching and coaching staff on Agile principles, DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
Your role will involve a combination of technical expertise, architectural design, engineering and hands-on implementation to ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance of cloud resources.

Qualifications
1. Experience designing Azure environments and resources which include: Networking components, storage, Entra ID, App Services,
2.Experience creating templates to deploy Azure resources utilizing IAC tools- BICEP
3.Experience with Azure private networking components.
4.Experience documenting systems and configuration.
5.Experience creating and maintaining PowerShell, Python, YAML, BICEP or other scripting languages for environment management.
6.Insurance industry experience preferred but not required.
The pay range for this role is:
75,000 – 160,000 USD per year (Rosemont)
