Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analytics and Automation Catalyst to join our FinOps team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing data analytics and automations on various processes, identifying areas of improvement, developing solutions to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of FinOps function. This role will report to the cloud FinOps Director and will join our cloud journey to innovation and analytics maturity. R&R as follows,
• Partner with Global Lottery engineering and Technology Finance to understand data analytics needs and identify high-impact opportunities to improve the chargeback process and implement sound analytics solutions and capabilities to the global lottery FinOps function.
• Design continuous integration and continuous cost allocation distribution framework as an integral foundation for developing and executing continuous chargeback and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain automated chargeback and workflows to streamline chargeback processes and improve efficiency.
• Visualize data and apply data storytelling techniques to communicate insights using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, writing DAX/MDX expressions
• Demonstrate strong understanding of data identification, data structures, and data wrangling techniques with the ability to query data from various sources and utilize data profiling, consolidation, transformation, and analytics.
• Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends and anomalies that may indicate cost control weaknesses or potential risks.
• Manipulate and optimize large volumes of data from a variety of sources i.e., Azure, Snowflake.
• Turn data into valuable and actionable insights, managing, and optimizing data retrieval, administration, and automation
• Work collaboratively to identify highest value target areas to apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, data mining and to help research new predictive models and other analytical method
