We leverage our extensive experience in enterprise IT transformation, our global scale and delivery centres, and our experience in building infrastructure platforms to become the industry leading cloud platform builders and operators, for our clients, by delivering sustainable and innovative cloud solutions fuelled by an end-to-end portfolio of cloud services and accelerators.The roleAs a FinOps consultant, you will be involved in very key FinOps projects consisting of assess, recommend, and deploy FinOps practice within the organization of our customers.More Specifically, Your Responsibilities Include
- Defining and managing the overall planning of delivery of Capgemini FinOps framework
- Organising & managing delivery meetings with project stakeholders
- Defining and ensuring the setup for scope & level of depth of the assessment phase Orchestrating the collect of client inputs and report the outputs including FinOps maturity assessment, FinOps best practices recommendations, and Optimization’s recommendations overview
- Providing all FinOps governance, adoption and change management guidelines adapted to the client context
- Supporting Cloud architect & SME teams in the optimization activities making sure of the clarity of explanations and saving calculations
- Supporting in FinOps governance setup
- Defining with client Dashboard’s strategy and tooling approach
- Proactive monitoring & KPI Reporting
- Devising strategies for Clients to manage their Cloud finances – analysing Cloud spend & usage data to identify areas of focus, creating strategies to support the adoption of FinOps within the customer’s organisation
- Engaging with product engineering teams – collaboration to support realistic cost/efficiency optimisation efforts
- Implementing custom solutions to solve specific business problems including building bespoke reporting solutions when required to meet a customer’s need
- Deploying FinOps Optimizations opportunities on behalf of our customers in liaise with our Managed services teams
What You Bring
You will be able to demonstrate the below competencies:
- You will have prior experience working on FinOps initiatives, and be passionate about working on FinOps at scale
- Previous experience with delivering 1-3 FinOps projects
- Deep understanding and strong working knowledge of the variety of cost-control strategies available in the major hyperscalers AWS, Azure, GCP
- A clear understanding of billing and metering for cloud platforms, including the impact of usage patterns on the total cost of ownership (TCO)
- FinOps Evangelist: Have driven change at the engineering level or advising senior managers on strategies relating to reserved instances and savings plans purchase
- Desirable – Experience working with 3rd Party Cloud Cost management tools (Cloud Heath, Cloudability, Cloudchecker,etc)
- Full working proficiency in both English and Swedish
Required Certifications
- Cloud practitioner certified
- FinOps practitioner certified or significant experience in FinOps deployment project
