Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibility and decision making around Cloud Costs Management including ownership and leadership for the phisical changes on the Cloud Platform
- Perform analysis, routine control checks, create decks, and present regular operational reviews to MT on the financial situation of the company cloud platform
- Analyze spend’s trends, and opportunities for savings, make plans for financial excellence of the cloud platform and advise Core Team with specific recommendations for improvements
- Creates metrics and reports, suggests optimizations options, and supports Cloud Monitoring Team with specific recommendations to improve overall platform monitoring
- Participates in architectural discussions to support Architects with cost-efficient decisions and secure the right balance between architecture setup and financial expectations
- Led creation of the cloud platform recharging model to secure valid internal costs split and support Delivery Business Control with financial clearance
- Build a Cloud FinOps knowledge base and secure processes and methodology to run all the FinOps activities in a manageable, repeatable, and organized way
- Acts as the Cloud FinOps Consultant to support products and projects with an understanding of cloud financial aspects
- Run regular knowledge-sharing sessions on cloud FinOps topics to increase the right focus on the cloud financial aspects and secure proper End-User mindset long-term
- Overall Products, Teams, and applications FinOps support
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the Azure cloud technology stack and ability to discuss the cloud aspects both from overall technical and financial aspects deeply
- Understanding of Azure cloud pricing models, taking into account the differences between different Azure services
- Ability to navigate challenging business situations and constantly lead in finding opportunities to drive value
- The mindset of always looking for opportunities and optimizations to provide practical and valued support to the company
- Skilled at building relationships with co-workers
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts
- Proficient user of Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
- Would be a significant plus:
- Practical financial analysis experience with the ability to develop and present the financial analysis report and recommendations
- Azure Cloud Certification
- High ability to learn primary relational database query languages such as SQL or KQL
