What you’ll do:

The Cloud Financial Operations Specialist tracks spending across cloud services to ensure transparency and cost accountability. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Developing reports and forecasting models for cloud usage and expenses.

  • Analyzing cloud cost data to identify trends and propose optimization strategies to eliminate unused resources.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to confirm proper budgeting and financial reporting practices for cloud usage and expenses.
  • Leading monthly meetings to inform stakeholders of trends in cloud spending.
  • Organizing and tagging spending to properly attribute and track costs.
  • Aligning cloud spending with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Assisting with vendor negotiations and licensing.

  • Two years of experience with FinOps principles, cloud management, financial reporting, forecasting and/or cost allocation
  • Experience with cloud cost management tools preferred
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices
  • Ability to learn cloud pricing models, saving plans and cost allocation methods
  • Experience with cost monitoring tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Salary Range: $88,400-$147,400.00
