Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Advansys

Description

Participate in all phases of the system infrastructure life cycle, from requirements gathering to system implementation and maintenance.
Maintain and manage high-availability production systems and integrated environments.
Develop and maintain in-house utilities to automate and facilitate infrastructure-related tasks and deployments.
Provide technical leadership for large-scale projects, offering coaching and motivation to team members.
Explore, evaluate, integrate, and deploy third-party tools for development, testing, and release activities.
Ensure systems are secure, optimized, and aligned with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems administration, or DevOps roles.
- Certifications in Linux, VMware, Kubernetes (e.g., CKA), or Red Hat OpenShift are a plus.
- Proven experience working with high-availability production systems and cloud-native platforms.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hardware.
- Proficiency in operating systems: Linux and Windows.
- Solid understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) concepts and administration.
- Expertise in DevOps concepts, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Ansible Automation administration.
- Knowledge of GitLab administration.
- Proficiency in open-source tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet, and Docker.
