Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python-Oriented Financial Cloud Tech Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python programming, cloud technologies, and financial systems. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients and internal teams for cloud-based financial applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Python scripts, cloud infrastructure, and financial data processing.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of financial applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix bugs, implement enhancements, and optimize performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
  • Assist in the deployment and configuration of cloud-based financial solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve support services.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in the financial technology sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming and scripting.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with financial data and indices, including equities, futures, and options.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with financial data APIs and data processing libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
