As a FinOps engineer you will be responsible for analyzing cloud spend, identifying potential cost savings, lead projects across R&D related to cost optimizations, follow up with peers and managers on the different activities to increase productivity and manage the company’s hosting budget, working closely with VP R&D and the CTO.
What you’ll do
-Finance focal point per cloud cost and cost optimization of our public cloud providers AWS and Azure.
-Monitor cloud cost and forecasting solutions including planning and budget
-Create and deliver ongoing reports, dashboards and forecasting
-Take part in architecture design with internal teams to provide the best cost perspective
-Work closely with R&D and finance teams in order to optimize cloud cost
-Evaluate new tools and services, aiming for ongoing technology efficiency
-Vision and design of cost governance and automation cross R&D
-You are part of the Platform team that leads all Cloud/DevOps initiatives in R&D and you report to Platform manager

    • You have experience working for a SaaS company
    • Understanding of Cloud architecture and experience with public cloud providers
    • At least 2 years experience as a FinOps/cloud analyst/engineer or equivalent In a SaaS company
    • Advanced SQL skills can be a big advantage for your success
    • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels
    • Proven analytical and presentation skills, organized with strong attention to detail
    • You adapt quickly in a changing environment and you always reconsider your methods
