Cloud FinOps Engineer

What You’ll Do:

As a Cloud FinOps Engineer you will analyze current trends and current situation in hardware infrastructure costs. Manage hardware cost optimizations within pre-agreed targets by coordinating company’s efforts.In this role you will:

  • Continuously analyze hardware cost changes and the current cost situation
  • Investigate and identify potential areas of improvements
  • Invent, elaborate and consolidate cost saving actions and plans
  • Manage hardware cost saving execution to ensure that on actions are taken on time and with industry-leading quality standards
  • Collaborate with technology and client-facing expert teams in various stages of cost saving lifecycle
  • Participate cross-functional teams to reach complex business objectives related to spend, revenue, hardware cost, and EBITDA optimization.
  • Prepare various reports and memos about hardware cost situation, taken actions, plans
  • Contribute budget, LE, and cost control processes. Participate in the hardware unit definition process.
  • Act as a stakeholder for development of hardware cost related tools (reporting, expert systems, etc.)

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of experience of performing various analysis
  • Deep knowledge of relevant tools (SQL, Excel, Python/other language for data analysis)
  • Strong technical and analytical acumen with the focus on building optimization solutions
  • Analytical mind, critical thinking, and excellent data analytics skills
  • Analytical and logical good problem solver (experience with math/programming contests is a plus)
  • Knowledge and experience with online advertising (RTB ecosystem) or google cloud or amazon web services ecosystem is an advantage
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment; flexibility in working across both cultures and languages.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • A relevant degree or equivalent
