Senior FinOps Manager

We are looking for a Senior FinOps Manager to join us in Lisbon.

Responsibilities:

• Track or avoid “cost waste” on the usage of the different Cloud resources provisioned.
• Analyze the capacity inventory trying to detect optimization that can potentially be done and follow the action plan with all the stakeholders.
• Estimate the potential cost optimization and contact the IT team and decide with them if a resource downsizing is possible.
• Track expensive resources to find potential cost optimization.
• Track unexpected expensive cost.
• Analyze the different costs by application and by service and detect the costs that have significatively increased from one month to another.
• Cost reallocation targets resources for which the cost is not directly associated to the target application consuming it.
• Reports the cost of the Cloud services to the management and the different teams.
• Provide to the different IT teams a reporting of their cost by application/service used.
• Build and control the forecast roadmap for the next 2 years.
• Communicates new subjects to the IT Teams related to transformation program.
• Remind to the IT team the best practices to put in place according to the services they plan to provision and use.
• Elaborate the cost estimation according to the architecture proposal defined by the technical experts.
• Mandatory to have strong knowledge on accounting and budget definition experience.
• Mandatory to have strong knowledge on IT concepts and infrastructure

Requirements:

• Accounting and budget knowledge.
• Knowledge on IT concepts and infrastructure.
• Fluency in English (at least B2).
