Job Description

ServiceNow is currently looking for an experienced Product Management Leader for our Cloud Cost Management solution. Cloud Cost management is part of ServiceNow’s Asset Management business unit, which empowers customers to manage any asset in all environments. As a leader of the ServiceNow Cloud Cost management team, you will lead all aspects of product execution and strategy working with Design, Engineering, and other product managers to define and build the capabilities to power the next releases of Cloud Cost Management and new solutions.

We’re looking for an individual who wants to apply disruptive thinking to the way people view FinOps and replace manual and disconnected business processes through ServiceNow. You will define and execute on a roadmap that supports customers in their FinOps journey to optimize cloud spend, automate operations and deliver key financial reporting.

What you get to do in this role:  

Product Strategy 

  • The Product Management Leader will define and execute product strategy for Cloud Cost Management. You will also work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Design, Outbound Product Management, Support, and Training.
  • Collaborate with other ServiceNow business units on integrating capabilities with Cloud Cost Management
  • Present the strategy for Cloud Cost Management to senior leadership, customer advocacy groups and sales leadership
  • Own technical/feature-based competitive analysis
  • Manage and grow the Cloud Cost Management inbound product management team

Product Planning and Release Management 

  • Define product roadmap and key success metrics; ensure they are instrumented & reviewed
  • Gather, prioritize and define requirements for each release
  • Create feature plans for each release, including acceptance criteria, use cases, etc.
  • Collaborate with engineering on release management: understand status, risks, dependencies and help address risks and resolve issues
  • Engage stakeholders on necessary inputs for product strategy & roadmap, get buy-in, manage communications, expectations and dependencies
  • Validate and refine product designs/early product offerings through Design Partner Program, Product Advisory Council and with other customers directly

Customer and Industry Engagement 

  • Be a visible product expert, sharing best practices both internally and with customers
  • Provide subject matter expertise and perspective on ServiceNow’s unique differentiators against other Cloud Spend Management solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Field enablement, Sales and User Learning to produce go-to-market materials
  • Communicate complex problems into easily understood requirements and provide solutions
  • Know top representative 5-10 customers intimately, their specific use cases, gains & pains
  • Be the voice of the customer and provide a business perspective on value
  • Work with Now on Now team to deliver content and make sure product is being used internally and aligned with best practices
  • Lead press and analyst briefings

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in Product Management, B2B SaaS and FinOps experience required
  • Deep experience with FinOps principles, Cloud Operations and Hyperscalers
  • The ability to make trade-off decisions between possible, desirable, and viable, which requires a good sense of what is technically feasible
  • Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities
  • Top notch written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Passion for design thinking, product management best practices and shaping the future of how enterprises will collaborate
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $217,500 – $380,700, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
