Anglepoint is seeking a FinOps Director to own the growth, scale, and market impact of our FinOps practice globally. This is a senior, client-facing role at the intersection of consulting delivery, business development, and practice leadership. You will be the most visible FinOps expert Anglepoint puts in front of clients and prospects, and you will be equally accountable for driving new business and delivering exceptional outcomes.
Anglepoint’s FinOps services cover the full cost management spectrum: cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.), consumption SaaS (Snowflake, Databricks, Datadog, etc.), and AI (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). As organizations rapidly expand their cloud, SaaS, and AI footprints, you will ensure our service offerings, delivery approaches, and go-to-market positioning keep pace with demand and changes in the market.
You will report directly to the Head of Global Service Delivery and work across sales, client success, marketing, and delivery to build a high-performing, scalable FinOps practice. The right person combines deep FinOps expertise with strong commercial instincts, genuine consulting ability, and the drive to grow a global practice.
As a FinOps Director, you will:
- Support the sales team in presales activity across FinOps opportunities — attending client meetings, qualifying and scoping engagements, and shaping commercial proposals as the subject matter expert
- Contribute to sales enablement and marketing through thought leadership, conference presence, webinars, and content that builds Anglepoint’s FinOps brand globally
- Identify and develop expansion opportunities within existing accounts, driving cross-sell and upsell across cloud, SaaS, and AI cost management
- Refine Anglepoint’s FinOps service packaging, pricing, and value messaging to compete effectively in the market
- Serve as senior delivery lead and trusted advisor on strategic FinOps engagements, ensuring clients receive expert guidance and measurable outcomes
- Deliver directly across governance, FinOps enablement, and cost optimization workstreams
- Advise clients on FinOps maturity development — from foundational capability through to operationalized, self-sustaining programs
- Drive governance best practices including tagging strategy, cost allocation, chargeback/showback models, policy frameworks, and accountability structures
- Guide clients through cloud, SaaS, and AI cost management, providing expert, platform-appropriate recommendations across all three categories
- Execute and continuously improve delivery models — including recurring managed services — that grow revenue without proportional resource growth
- Leverage existing accelerators, frameworks, and tools; that increase delivery efficiency and consistency across engagements
- Support the growth and capability development of FinOps practitioners globally
- Deliver services that support client retention, with documented ROI and strong client satisfaction (CSAT) outcomes
- Contribute to Gartner MQ and analyst engagement by ensuring live, evidenced outcomes are captured and available
- Work with Client Success and Sales Leadership to deliver a coordinated, high-value client experience
Who You Are:

- FinOps Certified Practitioner and/or FinOps Certified Professional
- Proven track record of contributing to business growth — supporting new client pursuits, expanding accounts, and influencing commercial outcomes
- Strong consulting instincts: you know how to frame problems, structure engagements, and deliver insight that clients act on
- Deep knowledge of FinOps as a discipline: governance, tagging strategy, cost allocation, chargeback/showback, maturity frameworks, and organizational adoption
- Hands-on experience across cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and working knowledge of SaaS and AI cost management categories
- Commercially minded with the ability to scope, price, and position services clearly
- Confident executive presence — credible with CFOs, CTOs, and engineering leadership alike
- Comfortable operating as both a senior individual contributor and a practice-level leader
- Experience supporting presales or sales enablement activity is a strong plus
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to 25%
