Senior Cloud FinOps Practitioner

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud FinOps Practitioner who expects more from their career. You will be working to drive the implementation of cloud cost optimization strategies, ensure rigorous financial control and maximize the value of cloud investments. To foster a culture of financial responsibility, transparency, and informed decision-making within dynamic cloud environments.

What we expect from you:

• At least 5-9 years of experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, or a related field.
• Implement and execute cost optimization strategies, including resource rightsizing, reservation management, and spot instance usage.
• Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with cloud usage, ensuring proactive measures to safeguard against unforeseen costs.
• Continuously monitor cloud usage and cost data, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Generate regular reports on cloud costs, consumption, and cost-saving opportunities for stakeholders.
• Advanced scripting or programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of IT procurement and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with cloud cost governance frameworks.
• Cost recovery and cost reduction strategies
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Certified FinOps Practitioner.
• Cloud cost benchmarking and industry insights.
• Experience with cloud cost modeling and forecasting.
• Experience with cloud cost management and optimization tools.
• Knowledge of cloud billing and pricing models.
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance principles.
