🌟 About the Opportunity:

As a  FinOps Leader , you will be responsible for leading key projects related to cloud financial management, ensuring that architectural decisions are cost-effective and aligned with our clients’ strategic goals. This role requires a unique combination of technical, financial, and communication skills to optimize both cloud usage and associated costs.

💼 Main Responsibilities:

🔹 Develop strategies to improve the relationship between revenue and cloud infrastructure costs.

🔹 Lead cost optimization initiatives, ensuring  cost reduction per implemented service  while maintaining high levels of service utilization.

🔹 Implement showback and chargeback models   that allow IT costs to be accurately assigned to business units, fostering a culture of financial responsibility.

🔹 Anticipate and analyze the financial impact of technical decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

🔹 Articulate complex financial and technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including technical and business stakeholders.

🔹 Facilitate collaboration between IT, Finance and Operations teams to implement cost-effective and sustainable practices.

🔹 Monitor key metrics and KPIs, such as continuous improvement in the cost-benefit ratio of cloud services.

Requirements and qualifications

✅ What we expect from you:

🔸  Basic requirements:

• Experience in cost optimization through strategic and cost-effective architectural decisions.

• Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on anticipating and addressing financial and technical challenges.

• Experience in implementing and managing showback and chargeback models  .

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Familiarity with cloud management tools (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience in generating financial dashboards and reports.

🔸  Desirable:

• FinOps Certification  , as well as certifications in  AWS  and  GCP .

• Experience implementing key optimization metrics, such as reducing cost per service deployed.

• Master’s degree or advanced technical training.
