Cloud FinOps Lead

My high profile government client is looking for an experienced Cloud FinOps Lead to work on a number of key projects. You will be responsible for all the financial operations of the Cloud Centre of Excellence including customer billing and recharging, budget and forecast management, modelling cloud costs with customers and financial analysis, reporting and feeding into wider financial management activities.

Essential skills:

• Experience of leading and managing Cloud Finance Transformation
• Experience of selecting and implementing Cloud Cost Management, optimisation toolsets such as Apptio or similar
• Detailed knowledge of Cloud Financial Operations
• Knowledge of accounting practices
• Knowledge of financial management and reporting toolsets
• Knowledge of cloud provider pricing and billing models, preferably Azure and/or AWS

Desirable skills

• Management Accountancy qualification
• FinOps certified
