As FinOps Analyst, you’ll be responsible for collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and optimizing IT costs and utilization for cloud, platform, commercial software, DevSecOps product and solutions. You will play an important role in integrating IT and business, enabling cost transparency, showback, and chargeback to support near-term and long-term planning and financial projections.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with IT product teams to identify elements of total cost and measures of utilization.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on costs and utilization across products, cloud providers, and classification levels
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track expenditures and utilization.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Analyze variances between actual spend and budgeted amounts, providing insights and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with finance and engineering teams to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Identify opportunities for automation in FinOps to improve efficiency.
- Work with engineering teams to automate cost management and reporting.
- Continuously explore new tools and technologies that can enhance FinOps capabilities.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- An active U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance (or higher).
- 3+ years of experience in a FinOps, cloud financial management, or similar role.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and metrics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Expertise in Excel and financial reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Understanding of cloud economics and pricing models.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
