My client is the air transport industry’s IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel.

You will work within the Strategy Team supporting Engineering and Technology, focusing on cost efficiency and productivity initiatives.

About the Role

We’re looking for a FinOps Consultant to support cloud cost management and optimisation across a complex technology environment.

This role will focus on improving visibility, governance, and value from public cloud spend, while also partnering closely with engineering, finance, and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a FinOps lead/champion across public cloud environments (Azure)

• Drive visibility and reporting of cloud spend (forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis)

• Work with engineering teams on cost optimisation initiatives (e.g. right-sizing, commitments, usage efficiency)

• Support governance models such as chargeback/showback

• Partner with finance and procurement on cost control and commercial decisionmaking

• Provide clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders

What we are looking for

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in a FinOps, Cloud Financial Management, or Cloud Cost Optimisation role

• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (Azure)

• Experience working closely with engineering and finance teams

• Solid understanding of cloud pricing models and optimisation levers

• Ability to communicate complex cost and usage data clearly

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing or influencing software, SaaS, or publisher/vendor spend

• Exposure to large or enterprise-scale cloud environments

• FinOps Foundation certification or similar
