CPIC | TBM Project Lead

What You Will Do:

  • Provide expertise and guidance to help manage and improve organizational IT cost transparency and IT planning
  • Provide timely, accurate management, analysis, reporting and communication of Information Technology business result
  • Perform business analysis and capital planning functions associated with the Capital Planning Investment Control (CPIC) process.
  • Work closely with investment owners on compliance with agency standards.
  • Conduct monthly assessments of CPIC Major Investments for status and performance reporting, and brief key stakeholders, including the CIO, on assessment results and recommendations
  • Conduct annual Initial and PB budget submissions: assess and validate budget data, develop AITPS and AITPD, and validate and verify budget and IT investment reporting
  • Create communications materials for IT executives
  • Lead efforts to create dashboards on IT Financial metrics for IT executives

 

What You Will Need:

  • Knowledge of CPIC, TBM, and FinOps
  • Knowledge of IT services and financial management processes and best practices such as budgeting, cost allocations, capital & operating expense handling, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills – capable of motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results
  • Experience facilitating discussions with financial management, IT operations, and business unit leadership personnel
  • Experience in IT service management, IT operations and IT financial management concepts
  • Experience in reporting and visualization development (requirements gathering, development, design, update via feedback) for IT and business unit stakeholders
  • Knowledge of MS Excel

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of PowerBI & Proven Optics
  • Knowledge of Folio
  • PMP Certification
  • Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) or FinOps Practitioner Certification
