Drive the optimization of the cloud resource consumption and improve ROI for cloud investment.
Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure capacity and demand forecast, monitor actual consumption
Create cost optimization framework and governing mechanism to optimize the cloud spend
Develop metrics and reporting to measure the financial excellence in the cloud
Develop Azure, GCP, AWS financial controls and guardrails
Implementing dashboard and alerting to monitoring the spend
Work with vendors to triage the billing discrepancy and resolve billing issues
Collaborate with the cloud architect, cloud governing team, and projects team on operational and workload cost management
Build automation to report on cloud infrastructure cost and operations.
Responsible for day-to-day cloud performance tracking and reporting – including creating reports for new services & manage exceptions to usage and billing, as needed
End to end coordination of Billing and invoice for cloud resources
Play critical role in annual budgeting.
Participate in deep architectural discussions to help product teams make the most cost-efficient choices
Have good understanding and able to write SQL Queries to run the AWS Lambda functions for Billing data.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in IT data center infrastructure; 4+ years of experience in a public cloud Azure, GCP and AWS environment
Hand-on experience in Azure, GCP and AWS billing analysis, practicing cost optimization technique, drive cost reduction
Prior experience in capacity and cost management
Intermediate level of understanding on the data center infrastructure technology solution, tools set, and public cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS, etc)
Good understanding and experience practicing FinOps Standards and principles.
Hands-on with the Azure, GCP, and AWS native and/or third-party cost management tool.
Certified with FinOps Certified Practitioner.
Certified Foundation on Azure, GCP and AWS.
Basis finance accounting concept.
Good MS Excel and Power Point Skills to prepare monthly MIS reporting.
