The Role

Atlas Copco Cloud Environment

Atlas Copco is executing a significant digital transformation, underpinned by a large and rapidly expanding global Azure cloud platform. The Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) is a critical function within the global Solutions team, established to guide, govern, and accelerate our business units’ journey to maximize value from the cloud.

Our Mission: We design, build, and maintain a robust and highly consumable cloud platform, ensuring easy access to services and centralized operational excellence for core components.

Operating Model: We leverage a strategic managed services partner for the operational management of the Azure Cloud environment and engage consultants for specialized, on-demand support.

Future Vision: We are in full transition to leverage more cloud and software-related services in our Business areas to speed up the projects they want to achieve.

The CCoE Team: The CCoE is a high-impact, cross-functional team of 7 members (internal and external) specializing in critical domains such as DevOps, FinOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Governance. We foster a culture of continuous learning and development, actively working toward T-shaped profiles where every member contributes across specializations.

What we expect of you?

        Professional Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in Vendor Management, experience overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) for critical infrastructure.
  • Proven background in leading and managing high-performing technical teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Direct experience working within a large-scale cloud environment (Azure).
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework is a significant advantage.

Technical Expertise

  • Solid foundational to advanced knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, Architecture, and Services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, Serverless), preferably within Azure is key.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English language skills are essential for global communication and partner management.
