FinOps Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing cloud expenses, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing cost-reducing solutions.
• Creating accurate cost forecasts, managing budgets, and alerting about budget overruns.
• Continuous monitoring of resource usage and generating reports on costs and performance.
• Working closely with DevOps teams, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective use of cloud resources.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost management in a GCP environment.
• Technology Knowledge: Solid knowledge of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery), AWS, Azure, and data analysis tools (BigQuery).
• Experience working with data warehouses and various types of databases.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
• Analytical thinking with the ability to analyze large datasets and draw conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Polish and English.
