About The Role Peraton is currently seeking to hire an IT Asset Manager to join our Federal Strategic Cyber program in our Cyber & Intelligence sector.
Location: Arlington, VA. Hybrid schedule. Position Description:
- Manage administration of IT inventory, asset management, and technical service contracts.
- Maintain and manage software licenses and updates.
- Create and manage enterprise wide asset management systems – can serve as liaison to the Finance and Legal departments as it related to the functions of the position.
- Provide support by providing asset information and managing the physical inventory control.
- Responsible for asset budget preparation, proven ability to coordinate IT Procurement activities – (i.e., upon receipt of purchase orders), invoice processing and reconciles changes in inventor.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience, or HS diploma and 6+ years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Must possess, or obtain prior to start date, at least one of the following certifications. Continued certification is required as a condition of employment:
- CCNA Intro to Networks Certified
- CCNA Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials Certified
- CCNA Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation Certified
- Customer Relations Certificate
- Udemy Java SE 8 Developer Certificate
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA A+
- Efficient in ensuring corporate and legal guidelines are followed for managing IT hardware and software assets; proficiency maintaining / managing software licenses and updates
- Has background in being responsible for the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of asset management systems for all IT technical assets
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- The ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance before start date.
- The ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.
