About The RoleThis role will report to the head of GT FinOps Analytics. This role will be the area owner for the FinOps finance enablement solution, and work in a collaboration environment with all FinOps enabling teams across central cloud foundational services, LOB FinOps teams, and LOB infrastructure capacity management teams. The area product will serve a wide range of customers from GT/LOB CIO, CTO, CFO, to architecture & engineering, to tech finance & business management, as well as finance or tech owned system. It is one of the corner stones to our success in supporting JPMC Public Cloud Strategy.Key Responsibilities
- Support public cloud monthly cloud billing, processing and digitalized reporting with accounting and finance
- Manage GT FinOps Insights dashboard on weekly cloud spend summary, cost optimization opportunity, tool adoption stats, and other leading KPIs to various stakeholders across GT/LOB functions
- Support stakeholders in understanding their cloud spend based on their business roadmap and budgeted forecast.
- Collaborate in public cloud monthly or quarterly demand planning & forecasting, application migration milestone commitment, budget variance and anomalies reporting to understand cloud spend commitment
- Work with our GT finance tech functions to digitalize our firm-wide financial and metrics reporting and data solution as to continuously measure our Public Cloud migration progresses and cloud business value
- Partner with relevant up/down stream financial or operation system and business processes to implement “FinOps data as Product” from design to operation.
- Manage business or feature requirement with various tech product lines to drive new cloud cost management enablement in observability, tagging strategy, billing or charge-back, rightsizing detection
- Manage cloud financial metadata governance and validation process with various finance or tech teams
- Participate in automating, integrating, and maturing the Cloud FinOps team’s processes and data
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Data Analytics, MIS, Finance or related discipline
- SMEs in public cloud capacity planning, cost management and optimization on AWS or GCP or Azure
- Knowledge of the core Finance principles and the corporate accounting and finance process
- Lead experience in data solution, BI tooling architecture, or implementation
- Ability to navigate, cleanse and integrate raw data to develop dynamic dashboards using data analytics tools
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, QlikView, SQL or similar BI tools
- Ability to contextualize abstract or complicated or new concept across all levels of stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically, execute surgically, prioritizing multiple tasks or agenda under pressure
- Strong organizational skills, good judgment, fact based and decision making ability
- Ability to influence others across multiple functional areas to drive change
- Must have a collaborative and participative management style
