Core Responsibilities

The Associate Tech Ops Specialist will join our Software Asset Management team and take part in an exciting transformation as we are ramping up on our tools and strive to build more automized, coherent, and seamless processes for our colleagues and partners globally. We need a key player to drive and support procurement processes of various software products – also:

  • Handle software renewals, support and advice on vendor and cost optimization and run ad hoc tasks.
  • Look for ways to optimize our SAM lifecycle and think of how to automate manual processes as much as possible.
  • Work, communicate and coordinate with vendors/resellers and colleagues globally.
  • Facilitate sprint meetings with your team members.
  • Be fun!!

The FinTechOps which currently consists of 11 colleagues providing SAM, Cloud FinOps and financial service.

 

We are 6 colleagues working within SAM and one Lead Engineer. The atmosphere is very informal, relaxed, and humorous and we would love it if you could also make us laugh as well as impress us with your proactivity, curiosity, and courage to jump into the task at hand. You will become a valuable part of our team to help manage our operational tasks while also supporting various development tasks.

 

Come join our daring FinTechOps team which works across various product teams in our infrastructure area, covering SAM – we have a tight and comprehensive roadmap in front of us.

 

We are an international team based at the vibrant LEGO® Campus in Billund. The work environment is exciting, inspiring, and flexible.

 

Do you have what it takes?

The preferred candidate is a cool communicator who can work with all types of people at any level or function. Who knows how to ensure governance in a collaborative way, can communicate pros and cons of various approaches as well as influence and convince people when needed. Thus, being part of a team and a collaborative setting is something that energizes.

 

We encourage candidates with multiple backgrounds, e.g., IT, Procurement, Finance, Economics, or the like, that have ended up working with IT Asset Management through various career paths.

 

To succeed in this role, you ideally already have experience within some of the following:

  • Working within the field of procurement and finance, and it is an advantage with experience within SAM specifically.
  • Collaborate well with people across different functions and levels.
  • Build structured processes and have an eye for optimizing processes whenever possible.
  • Be a trusted advisor who strives to ensure we get the most out of our IT investments, by advising on ways to optimize vendor relations and cost spending.
  • Strive to take a data-driven and automation approach, so we make informed decisions and reduce manual processes.
  • And able to play with LEGO® Bricks during meetings!

 

Advanced skills in verbal and written English are needed since we are part of an international digital team.
