Cloud Solution Architect | Adoption and Governance, Dutch Speaker

This role focuses predominantly on people and processes, connecting them to the cloud services Microsoft provides. Help IT departments govern and operate these services while also helping end-users see the benefits and adopt them. As a CSA – Adoption & Governance, you will deliver high-quality IT service management services, using your deep knowledge of IT operations, cloud governance and FinOps to bring customers furhter and drive business value. Map customer business problems to the right technology and process-based solutions. Deliver engagements, provide subject matter expertise, conduct assessments, labs, and workshops, and design, develop, and implement solutions to accelerate digital transformation and adoption of Microsoft services.


We are looking for someone with a passion for customer excellence, who can deliver effective strategic presentations to all audiences. You should be resourceful, confident under pressure, and able to establish relationships and actively participate in Microsoft communities. Success is measured by the quality of delivery, customer satisfaction, virtual team feedback, and level of sales support.

Language and Education:

  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English is a must.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field. (Or proven experience on that level)

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience with cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting, systems administration, or network operations.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, working with both internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Azure, M365, D365, and/or Power Platform, as well as experience with infrastructure technologies.

Communication and Relationship Building:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate the business value and need for proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Ability to build deep, trusted relationships with stakeholders, including technical and business decision-makers.
  • Strong self-awareness and ability to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues to increase your ability to “read the room.”
  • Ability to ask insightful questions to understand customer needs, issues, business environment, and drivers, and to identify new opportunities aligned with customer business value.

Customer Success:

  • Capability to prepare customers for operational readiness and long-term organizational adoption.
  • Guide customers towards solution cost and performance optimization, leading to retention and expansion opportunities.



Customer Communication and Engagement:

  • Work with customers to define communication strategies/adoption plans that address employee concerns and motivations.
  • Create feedback mechanisms to sustain long-term end-user adoption.
  • Mentor and coach client stakeholders and/or teams.

Service Delivery:

  • Deliver Culture and Cloud Experience (CCX) Services engagements, including workshops, assessments, support programs, and other pro-active services.
  • Deliver high-quality engagements in both large-scale project environments and smaller, single-staffed engagement models.

Expertise and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Assist customers in aligning with cloud governance and FinOps best practices.
  • Engage in IT and business executive discussions related to Change Management, Modern Service Management principles and practices, Digital Transformation, and overall IT Operations.
  • Transfer knowledge and share best practices with team members to enhance engagement delivery and customer experience.
  • Participate in Microsoft communities, evangelize Adoption and Change Management (ACM), Modern Service Management (MSM), and monitoring, and contribute to Intellectual Property.

Collaboration and Relationship Building:

  • Establish effective working relationships with cross-area project teams and work through appropriate escalation channels when necessary.
  • Work as “One Microsoft” to establish strong relationships with account-aligned organizations, Microsoft Services, offerings teams, and other internal resources as appropriate.
  • Drive consumption of Microsoft cloud-based technologies in customer account environments.
