National Grid is hiring a Cloud FinOps Program Manager for our Cloud FinOps team. This role can be based anywhere in our service area.

The Cloud FinOps team plays a critical role in optimizing cloud spend for the company’s global cloud platform. We develop products and provide services that allow our teammates to make data-driven technology decisions, creating maximum business value for the company.
We are looking for a Cloud FinOps Program Manager with superior analytical and quantitative skills to perform cloud demand forecasting, cost optimization, capacity planning, cloud utilization analysis, spend modelling, and cost savings strategy development.
Who We Are Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will be a Program Manager, FinOps leveraging a unique skill set to engage, support, and advise internal customers on their public and private cloud journey, helping them to understand their cloud estate.
The candidate will have FinOps experience or a cloud engineering background with a demonstrated technical understanding of public cloud products and services balanced with strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills.
The candidate will be a team-player and a self-starter with agile learning abilities and a bias to doing the right thing. Attention to detail, good listening skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders are desired qualifications.
Salary
$122,000 – $170,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
