What you’ll do
With our cloud-based transformation well underway, our engineers are using modern engineering practices to explore the full potential of the cloud. And as our focus moves from what goes on behind the scenes to what our customers can see, we’re reimagining tomorrow’s banking experience and developing innovative products and experiences for our customers, today.
With our customers at the heart of your approach, we want you to work at the leading edge of technological transformation to explore new technologies, meddle with the status quo, and approach failure as a building block of innovation to solve complex issues rapidly and iteratively for our customers.
Day to day, we want you to:
- Assist in generating regular reports and visualisations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, utilising cloud native and third-party toolsets
- Collaborate with our customers, vendors, and other technical teams to evolve our FinOps practices
- Partner with the Application and Platform teams to identify and drive cost optimisation across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Support the development and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reports using tools such as Excel and other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Engineer and develop FinOps tooling to provide stakeholders with real time insights in their public cloud consumption
- Improve our cloud financial controls and accountability of efficient cloud usage

Your technical skillset might include:
- A passion for learning new technologies, practices, and ways of working
- Hands on public cloud experience using AWS, Azure, or GCP
- An understanding of cloud-based services usage and pricing experience as a business or data analyst
- Experience with a programming language, ideally Python, and DevOps automation tools such as GitLab
- Good analytical, communication, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience working in an agile environment
And you’ll bring this all together with your:
- Great collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Capacity to focus on the customer and empathise with them
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to different audiences
- Experience of contributing to roadmaps and strategies
- Drive to make sure that solutions have security considered from the outset
