Senior FinOps Manager (Remote)

Nivoda is looking for an extremely ambitious FinOps professional, to design and implement software and procedures to streamline and automate the financial processes of our marketplace. As a super fast growing b2b marketplace that is the principal in the transaction, Nivoda pays thousands of suppliers and collects payments from thousands of customers every month. In this role you would work closely with Nivoda’s CFO, the product as well as the accounting teams to ensure the financial scalability of the Nivoda platform. Examples are API powered automated bank payments, unique virtual bank accounts for customers automating income recognition, as well as automating the accounting and financial ops of returns.

The role is based out of our London or Amsterdam office and you would be reporting to Bas Lustenhouwer (CFO).

Profile / requirements

  • 7+ years of Fintech / FinOps / Corporate Finance or Consulting experience
  • Experience in working in a fast growing organisation
  • Experience in designing and implementing financial processes and automation through SaaS and/or in-house software solutions
  • Experience in working closely with product managers and engineers to create or improve systems and/or financial automation
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Excited about data
  • Experience building BI dashboards, writing SQL queries
  • Experience with management reporting and key financial metrics such as unit economics, CAC, NPV, EBITDA
  • Analytic problem solver
  • Great eye for detail
  • Good knowledge of basic accounting principals
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus

What you’ll do:

  • Working closely with product and tech to build and operationalise tools and solutions to streamline Nivoda’s financial operations
  • Work closely with Nivoda’s team global accounts payable and receivable teams to translate their needs into software driven and automated solutions
  • Be responsible for the FinOps part of Nivoda’s P&L
  • Build and maintain a global financial operation that will allow Nivoda to scale to over $1 billion in monthly transactions
  • Lead Nivoda’s transition from Xero to a more scalable ERP
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations
  • Streamline accounting functions and operations
  • Analyse (financial) data and build dashboards that allow the teams to track performance and take strategic decisions
  • Assist in management reporting and budgeting
