Project Manager 2

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India.

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 2 to lead IT project management efforts in support of cloud migration initiatives within large data center environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in managing operational action plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project completion. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform IT project management duties to support cloud migration for data center services and operations.
• Provide consultative guidance, program oversight, and status reporting to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Monitor project deliverables and milestones to ensure alignment with the project plan, timelines, and budget.
• Enhance visibility into resource allocation, budgeting, and hardware/software deployment.
• Collaborate with internal and external vendors/service providers to meet operational requirements.
• Review critical operational initiatives and regulatory documents for compliance and effectiveness.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and leadership. 

Qualifications

• 7 Years: Proven experience managing IT projects in large data center environments, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
• 5 Years: Expertise in cloud migration project management and operational action plans.
• 5 Years: Consultative skills providing guidance, status reporting, and experience with IT procurement and budgeting.
• 5 Years: Proficiency in monitoring project deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation.
• 5 Years: Strong communication skills to facilitate coordination with stakeholders and leadership reporting.
• 5 Years: Experience working with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure) and understanding cloud technologies.
• 5 Years: Experience collaborating with vendors and ensuring operations compliance.

Preferred

• 3 Years: Experience in government fiscal management and data center support.
• 3 Years: Background in security audits, assessments, and compliance efforts.
• 3 Years: Familiarity with cloud cost management tools and strategies.
• 2 Years: Hands-on experience using tools like Remedy, ITSM, PPM, Archer, Jira, and ServiceNow.
• 2 Years: Experience preparing and managing security exemption requests.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $56 – $66/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
