IT Financial Specialist

As the Global IT Finance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the consolidation of financial processes and systems across our diverse IT landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT financial management, cost analysis, and financial reporting, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Collaborate with IT leaders to develop and manage the global IT budget, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
  • Conduct financial analyses and provide insights to support decision-making processes within the IT department.

Cost Management and Optimization

  • Monitor IT expenditures and identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and recommend adjustments as necessary.

Consolidation of Financial Processes:

  • Streamline financial processes across the IT department, taking into account the varied structures of the merged entities.
  • Develop standardized financial reporting templates and dashboards for consistent global reporting.

Financial Compliance:

  • Ensure IT financial processes comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely financial information.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with finance teams, IT leadership, and business units to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic IT initiatives and projects.

 

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT financial management or a similar role.
Strong understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Experience in consolidating financial processes and systems in a multi-entity environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Financial management software: SAP/ Microsoft Excel / Power BI.
