Cloud FinOps Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Cloud FinOps Manager to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis. Multiple locations considered!

Role Requirements

As the Cloud FinOps Manager you will be responsible for performing daily monitoring and data analysis of our cloud consumption across multiple cloud providers (Azure and AWS). You will continually identify, implement, and track Cost Optimisation opportunities and inform the business and technical owners.

You will develop and maintain customised reporting and dashboards on cloud costs to internal stakeholders to provide a view on actual costs vs budgets. You will update spend alert thresholds to ensure cloud owners are notified of anomalous spend. You will be working with Procurement and IT Partnerships to track consumption spend vs commitment agreements.

You will be working with cloud owners to provide accurate cost forecasting across the Cloud estate. You will be tracking and reporting of forecast consumption, accuracy, and completion to internal stakeholders. You will also support cloud on-boarding with the scoping, pricing, and optimised designing of proposed cloud solutions.

The Individual

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have a detail-oriented, data driven and analytical mindset with a good focus on accuracy. You will also have proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, PowerBI).

You will have previous experience in a financial analysis, cloud operations, or similar role. You will also experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and their cost management tools.

You will have the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable way to all stakeholders. You will also have excellent customer centric communication and presentation skills.
