As a Security Architect Sr within PNC’s Security Architecture organization, the preferred candidate will reside and work in one of our Technology hub locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, PA or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ, Responsibilities require time in the office with the opportunity for remote work at the manager’s discretion.
As a member of Security Architecture, you will be exposed to many facets of security, technology, and governance. The role includes activities that span from defining and establishing Security standards, to working with teams on emerging technology discovery, to compliance with existing standards, to contributing to the governance processes.

3) Proficiency in a wide range of technologies (security and non-security).

6) The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and able to speak to impacts, blockers and outcomes in business, technology, and/or security context.
7) Ability to evaluate a technology landscape to recommend solutions for considerations and enable the discussion of risk vs design tradeoffs for a proposed solution.
8) Ability to explain and support the outcome of a security capability point of view.
9) Ability to learn and apply PNC’s approach to Architectural Standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
10) Ability to lead groups/topics as needed, balancing stakeholder desires and security standards/policy, to provide recommendations on approach or next steps.
11) Ability to create diagrams or other visuals as needed to communicate messages for alignment with stakeholders.
12) Ability to be a Self-starter and taking initiative to provide answers or a needed direction with minimal supervision.
13) Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies in cloud computing and AI.
14) Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features.
15) Proficiency in AI and machine learning technologies for security applications.
16) Experience with security tools and frameworks (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center).
