• Financial Accountability: Establish data-driven spending decisions to gain more financial control and predictability. Ensure teams take ownership of their cloud usage and expenses
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with Procurement, engineering teams, cloud users, and stakeholders to define, implement, and evolve metrics, reports, and dashboards for cloud spend analysis, enhancing forecasting and cost alerting platforms
  • Cost Allocation Models: Develop and enhance cloud cost allocation models, enabling accurate cost allocation per tag/namespace in AWS and other cloud vendors
  • Governance Integration: Integrate cost allocation and management tools within the wider cloud governance framework in collaboration with tech teams
  • Cost Optimization: Research and identify new cost-saving opportunities with current vendors and technologies, collaborating with service and business owners
  • Cloud Commitments: Support the development and implementation of cloud commitment strategies, such as AWS saving plans, reservations, and spot coverage
  • CCMO Tools Implementation: Implement and promote the use of Cloud Cost Monitoring & Optimization (CCMO) tools, increasing visibility and identifying opportunities for optimization and cost reduction
  • Best Practices Sharing: Share and collaborate on Cloud FinOps best practices and methodologies with colleagues across the company


  • Cloud Cost Management: Proven experience in monitoring and optimizing costs and usage of containers and Kubernetes. Familiarity with FinOps Foundation concepts and practices
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and draw conclusions from data/graphs
  • Customer and Problem-Solving Focus: Passion for customers and problem-solving, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  • Startup Agility: Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and projects
