Senior Consultant Cloud Service and Cost Management

A Snapshot of Your Day

You analyze, create and implement complex publiccloud-based solution designs according to customer requirements in closealignment with the system integrator, considering current security guidelines.You will be responsible for Service Management including integration withbackend systems, ServiceNow, and other interfaces. You will also be responsiblefor FinOps, to deliver the best cloud infrastructure at most optimal cost.

• Decide on suitable strategies and technology frameworkin cloud computing and automation
• Provide architectural leadership and best practices
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to the organization forcloud end-to-end service management including FinOps preferrable with a strongfocus on Google Cloud Platform.
• You work very closely with the specialist teams andcentral IT units to integrate the specific solutions into the corporate context
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, internalIT departments and system integrator providing updates on customer progress andensuring execution by partners
• Collaborate with internal teams to define the internalinfrastructure road map for hosted systems
• Implementation and development of necessary ITILprocesses e.g. Incident Management to manage the services
• Responsible for organization’s cloud computinginfrastructure and costs. Get maximum business value by managing cloudinfrastructure costs, optimizing spend, delivering the best infrastructure atreasonable cost
• Cloud cost optimization / identification of costsaving opportunities
• Cloud budget management (forecast, outlook, planning)
• Preparation of cost analyses and reports
• Implementation of further governance and compliancepolicies
• Responsible for development and continuous improvementof service requests, incident management, customer satisfaction (CSAT) andinterfacing with service providers.

WhatYou Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related subject
• 5 or more years experience in designing and operating cloud infrastructure
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (VPCs, projects, firewalls, multi-tenancy, orchestration, elastic scalability, inter-cloud connectivity, security, HA, etc)
• You have expertise in metrics and analytics & can run/ manage resources optimally
• You have high affinity to modern IT infrastructure and knowledge of the essential, current technological trends in IT
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to present and discuss complex technical information in clear and understandable fashion to the leadership team
• Proven architecture and service management skills according to ITIL practices
• Technical certification e.g. GCP Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Fundamentals
• Proven project management and delivery experience across multiple countries, locations
• Language skills, English is required
