FinOps Architect

Your mission within the IS&T Team 👀 :

Within the Infrastructure Management organization, the FinOps Architect is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining cost management practices across all Sodexo Cloud teams. This mission must be executed in Global environment and across all the different Sodexo regions. He will facilitate Cloud native architecture adoption as well as new Cloud culture and especially FinOps culture.

This role includes:

->Develop new FinOps patterns for Azure IaaS, PaaS, and Data services :

• Proactively analyze Top services usage and potential optimizations
• Take the lead to propose generic recommendations adapted to Sodexo use cases

and obtain validation from architects & security teams

• Document Recommendations (FinOps policies, Decision trees, Web page…) to participate to the continuous improvement of FinOps practices in Sodexo

->Contribute to support Global & regional Projects by driving FinOps adoption and creating value for the Business

• In close collaboration with major project stakeholders, take the lead on major projects to represent FinOps team and identify, evaluate, and propose cost optimizations aligned with the FinOps strategy
• Challenge application Tiering, sizing, Azure services selection and licenses mode to propose FinOps optimizations aligned with the Business expectations
• Support project leaders to forecast recurring costs

->Will be the referent for a strong part of FinOps tooling: FinOps automation and scripts development

• Propose and maintain FinOps scripts (PowerShell, Kusto)
• Evaluate benefits, feasibility, and cost of new developments in collaboration with other IM team members

->Strong contributor to FinOps strategy definition & adoption

• Contribute to definition and implementation of Reporting & Tooling (Excel, ideally Power BI)
• Contribute to the improvement of Project and RUN Processes to better integrate FinOps and cost efficiency
• Contribute to FinOps Training of Sodexo teams,
